Room History

Jesse Mercer served as President of the General Association of Georgia's Baptists, the driving force behind the establishment of the Mercer Institute. Mercer also served on the first Board of Trustees of the school originally located in Penfield, Georgia.

Location: Second floor, main house
Bedding: Four-poster, King-sized bed
Fireplace: Yes (gas-log)
Other Amenities: Hunt plaids, fleur-de-lis trimmings, a down-filled sofa, 19th century French bronze clock on the mantle, whirlpool tub in private bath.
